Board of Directors Voting Now Open!

MISS DIG 811 invites all facility owner members to participate in the election process. The Annual Meeting of Members held virtually, through Microsoft Teams will be on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 with the election of four (4) Directors to represent the following: 1 municipal utility, 1 cable industry, 1 heavy highway/road builders, and 1 Pipeline industry.

Each member is entitled to one vote for each whole $1,000.00 increment of the amount paid for services from the Notification Center in the previous fiscal year, on any matter submitted to a vote at a meeting of the Members. If an amount less than $2,000 was paid, the Member shall have one (1) vote. In the case of new participating Member without a payment history, the Board of Directors shall assign it a number of votes for the first year based on a reasonable projection of the annual payment. Participating Members may vote in person or through proxy given to their agent or employee. If more than one vote is cast by your organization only one vote will be tallied. All Members shall be subject to the rules and regulations of the corporation as approved by the Board of Directors from time to time. You may vote for one of the interested candidates, write in a candidate or abstain from voting in the category.
